But a lot of your success for the coming year can be determined by what you do in the next few weeks.
Now that doesn’t mean it’s impossible to bounce back if you have a slow start to the year…
But if you can book yourself a month or two in advance at the beginning of the year, it becomes MUCH easier to hit your financial goals come December.
Because if you do a good job on those projects, it often leads to repeat business or even retainer income for the rest of the year.
Plus if you can bank extra revenue at the beginning of the year, it can help make up for any slow points you have later.

Not only are most people and companies more motivated and ambitious at the start of the year…
But the start of a new year also gives you a great “excuse” to reach back out to past clients and leads that you never closed.
And that means you can quickly fill up your pipeline with new projects — just by reaching back out to your existing contacts.
Which is why, over the next few weeks, I’m going to be emailing my own past clients and un-closed prospects from last year to reconnect with them. And to see if they have any projects coming up that could be a fit for us to work on together.
